The comic was renamed ODDJOB, and became one of the first and only books fully illustrated on the computer.
As Ty worked on a Graphic Design degree, and had more freelance digital illustration jobs, he had the idea drawing and designing the entire
comic on the computer. The first digitally created issue was OAZ4. It was well received, and was part of the reason it was picked up by
Slave Labor picked.
The characters began to fully develop and the stories matured with the artwork. Ty also designed a font that fit in with the artwork better,
and to get away from the overused comic book fonts in independent comics. Our initial 6-issue concept, culminating in the origin of Moe,
had expanded as we continued to introduce new stories.
It is our hope that someday a huge compilation of 350+ published pages, and 50-100 pages of unpublished material will be collected for
all to read. |
